When you talk about a young lady who has distinguished herself in the fashion industry, in Nigeria and Milan (Italy), where she is based, Ruth Ibeawuchi, popularly known as Ruthymilano’s name will spring up. This vibrant lady is a Nigerian, who hails from Imo State. She was an Abuja model and owns one of the leading modelling agencies, called Absolute Events, before she relocated to Milan, after her wedding in July 2013.
Now, she is an entrepreneur and a top brand influencer. She started as a jeweller. She participated in a few exhibitions in Milan and its environs.
Ruth was also a model stylist for a while, before she started her own Hair-Line; Luxury Hair, by Ruthymilano. Her brand of hair is one of the best because of the package and authenticity.
Ruthy, as she’s fondly called, has done quite a lot of jobs for top brands in the fashion industry, locally and internationally. She is a formidable force to be reckoned with when it comes to influencing top brands. Some of the designers she has influenced are: Tommy Hilfiger and Zendaya (an American based designer), VGrass Studio Milan, Dewyld Fine Jewellery, in Italy, Sevedon Clothing brands in Italy, Judannclothing in Nigeria, Fashioncole in Nigeria, Pennywisecollections in Nigeria, and Tarinoroh in Nigeria, to mention a few.
Ruthy used to be the toast of many Nigerian designers, while modelling in Nigeria, because of her experience and commitment to the job. Some of the jobs to her credit include: Arise Fashion Show, City People Exhibition and Fashion Show, Abuja, An Evening With Abuja Top Fashion Designers Fashion Show, where she modelled for top brands like Ogodor Designs, DZYN Couture, Terivik Couture, Chavid Fashion and Style, Miss Makor, Yutee Rone Atelier, to mention a few.
This beautiful and down-to-earth lady’s hobbies are travelling and shopping. She has lost count of countries she has visited. As a business lady, she diverted the energy of shopping into her concierge business, Ruthymilano Concierge Services. She enjoys taking people around Milan, whenever they come for vacation. Ruth is happily married to an Italian, and they are blessed with an amazing daughter.
