He is well known all over the country and beyond as the Tree Planter; Giwa Bisi Rodipe is also a legendary Carpenter who started his roadside furniture workshop that later became BISROD Furniture in Ibadan in 1961.
But Papa Bisi Rodipe likes to plant trees.
His Tree Planting efforts started in 1984 when he planted Mahogany trees.
Those Mahogany trees are now his flagship in Tree Planting that provide nesting platform for Eagles to raise chicks and shed for Monkeys.
He has a big forest of trees in Ijebu-Ode.
It is for his pioneering efforts in tree planting that his 79-year-old businessman is being celebrated today.
