Sunday, November 15, 2020 has indeed marked a new beginning for the Celestial Church of Christ, CCC worldwide and its international headquarters in Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos marked its 40th adult thanksgiving service in grand style. Tagged “new beginning, the thanksgiving service opened at exactly 10:00 am inside the well-ventilated international headquarters auditorium in Lagos with a processional hymn.
It looked more like the gathering of angels as everyone looked like heaven owing to the fact that virtually everyone was adorned in the beautiful white garment which is the symbol of the Celestial Church all over the world. As the service went on, the church observed all COVID-19 protocols and ensured the safety of the people against the pandemic while she celebrates.
Many celebrity men and women stormed the event to felicitate with the spiritual head of CCC worldwide, His Eminence, Rev. Pastor Friday Mobiyina Emmanuel Oshoffa, who also doubles as the son of the founder of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, Late Rev S.B.J. Oshoffa.
SERVICE HOLDS IN 3 LANGUAGES
Did you know that the anniversary thanksgiving service held in three languages? Yes it did. Three major languages, Yoruba, English and French were spoken to the mass audience at the event. The church made sure that it catered to the needs of everyone in attendance by speaking in the languages they understood the most. No part of the audience was cut out due to the communication barrier.
AND THE CHOIR WOWED EVERYONE
The celestial church is known for one thing, good music. The international headquarters choir did not disappoint the waiting audience. The music was topnotch and instrumentalists were out of the world. The choir had various soul-lifting renditions in different languages. Let’s also tell you that there was a new beginning in the alujo beats that oozed from the choir stand to God and mankind.
INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS OPENS GALLERY OVERFLOW
As part of the landmark achievement at 40, the international headquarters extended the church capacity by opening the gallery overflow for worshippers for the first time. Before now, the overflow had mainly been the church compound.
OBA IMEKO DELIVERS SPEECH
One of the top dignitaries at the event was the Onimeko of Imeko, HRH, Oba Reuben Alabi Adebayo. He delivered a speech laying emphasis of the CCC International University project which is said by the grace of God would be launched very soon.
CCC INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS SET TO COMMENCE CANDLE, BOTTLED WATER PRODUCTION
Better days are here for the Ikosi-Ketu residents as job opportunities are beckoning very soon. This is coming after the Celestial Church of Christ, CCC International Headquarters announced its intention to commence candle and bottled water production.
The church which is pastored by Superior Evangelist Matthew Olatosho Oshoffa made the pronunciation at its 40th Adult Thanksgiving service in Lagos. CCC International Headquarters announced this as a way of assisting the government in creating employment opportunity for the teeming youths in the Ikosi Ketu axis of Lagos.
OONI OF IFE GIFTS CCC WORLDWIDE 10 ACRES OF LAND
Gifts are rolling for the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Worldwide as its international headquarters marks its 40th adult thanksgiving in grand style. HRM Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife has announced a 10 acre of land for the CCC worldwide. Ooni made this announcement on Sunday, November 15, 2020 during the church’s thanksgiving service. Ooni who regretted being absent due to exigences declared that the gifted land is situated along Ilesha-Akure express road in Osun State.
MOST SUP. EVANG. J.D. NANUYAN DELIVERS THE WORD
The word for the day had been slated to be delivered by the spiritual head His Eminence, Revd. Pastor Emmanuel Mobiniya Friday Oshoffa but was unavoidably absent due to situations beyond control. However, Most Sup. Evang. J.D. Nanuyan stood in for him and schooled the congregation on the need to be obedient if there is any chance of having a new beginning at all. Quoting from Isa 43:18-19, the man of God had emphasis on what it takes to experience a new beginning and afterwards prayed for CCC International Headquarters, CCC worldwide and Nigeria at large.
CCC INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS CHOIR LAUNCH ALBUM
Nothing beats good music because it lifts the spirit and blesses the soul. Good music is what the CCC International headquarters packed in their new album tagged ‘New Dawn’. The songs cut across all genres of music and also featured the Shepherd of the church, Sup/Evang Olatosho Oshoffa.
WORLD FAMOUS SINGER, MEGA 99 WAS HERE TOO
Mega 99 is a famous juju musician and a celestial singer to the core. He started his music career in a celestial choir as well but has become world-famous from the trade and tours all over the world regularly. He was also in attendance at the CCC International Headquarters 40th anniversary and also launched the Choir Album with an undisclosed amount.
THE CAKE WAS LIT
Permit me to tell you about the anniversary cake. It was simple, classy and lit. Designed in figure 40, the anniversary cake was white with a touch of blue, the popular CCC colours. Meanwhile, there was also a touch of peach to complement its already astonishing beauty. You would wish you had a taste even from afar off.

The recognition of good works does not go in vain at the CCC International Headquarters, Lagos. This reason and many more made some notable individuals with meritorious services in the Lord’s vineyard bag these awards.
Some of those who received the plaque of honour are Most Sup. /Evang. S.O Banjo, Baba Aladura Akindelero, Sec-Gen CAN Lagos, Sup/Evang Pius Olanrewaju, Mother Celestial Abiodun Adefeso, Sup/Evang. J.O Ogunremi, post-humous award to mother celestial Adebola Roseline Sodeinde, MC Elizabeth Oshoffa, Mother Celestial Bada.
Others are Senior Leader Peluola Dairo, Elder Femi Ogunleni, Elder Bolaji Samuel, late MC Ruth Adeleke, Lady Evangelist Abraham Agness, mother celestial D.O. Ogunlola and Late Steve Babatope Johnson.
SUP/EVANG TOSHO OSHOFFA BAGS NAPS AWARDS
The National Association of Polytechnic Students, NAPS has honoured the Sup/Evang Tosho Oshoffa, the Shepherd in charge, CCC International Headquarters, Lagos. The award was presented to him on Sunday, November 15, 2020 a day his church marked its 40th anniversary.
Sup/Evang Tosho was regarded by NAPS as an icon and inspiration to the many youths who see him as an exemplary leader. He commands respect among the clergy and has run the international headquarters with innovations that have brought the CCC International headquarters to the limelight.
