It was an afternoon of unlimited fun in Lagos on Sunday 18th August when London big babe, Adesola Badmus popularly called Pinky Lomo, an accomplished lawyer, and her siblings hosted friends and family to their late Dad, Elder Isaac Olufemi Oyebade popularly called “Chairman’s” 10 years remembrance party in Lagos.
The classy remembrance party was a big one as many big boys and babes flew in from different parts of the world to celebrate with them. The party started with much fun fare and we can tell you that it is one of the classiest shindigs which trended heavily on social media even days after the event. Trust Naija women, they surely know how to party hard and enjoy themselves so long as a popular band, Faith Band is in charge.
The late Isaac Oyebade in his lifetime was an academician who is the founder of Ladaso Nursery and Primary School in Lagos. He was also a retired Vice-Principal. He was well-loved by his families and friends, no wonder many people came all the way from Ogun, Lagos, US, London to celebrate this great man. He was married to 2 wives, Mrs Olayinka Oyebade and Late Mrs Olabisi Ashabi Oyebade.
You need to be at the party to know how classy and loaded the party was that it shook the whole of Ikeja that weekend. The gist on everyone’s lips before the event was, are you going for Pinky Lomo’s dad’s remembrance party? To tell you that it was a big party. There was Aso-Ebi for the event, it is a peach colour Ankara matched with a peach gele. In London, the deceased’s daughter, Pinky Lomo is very popular. Having come from a family of educationist, she is well-read and well connected. She has many siblings who are doing well in their respective fields. The firstborn of the family is AIGP, Leye Oyebade, Pastor Mrs Oshikoya, Mr Dapo Oyebade, Mrs Funke Osisanya, Mrs Adesola Badmus aka Pinky, Mrs Deola Ogunyemi and Mr Seun Ibanesebor. One of the deceased’s late wife, Mrs Olabisi Oyebade was also well celebrated at the remembrance. She is the mother of pretty Pinky Lomo who was a staunch educationist and a businesswoman in her lifetime. She was a retired principal of a prominent school and also owned a thriving pure water factory before she passed on. Her many friends and families also showed up to celebrate her afterlife.
It was very glaring that the party was full of women and we had in full too, feeding one’s eyes with their choice of styles sewn with their Ankara Aso Ebi. Pinky lomo no doubt pulled her friends together and they stormed the Yard 158 event centre of the party en masse. She is a resident in London, a lawyer by profession who has a Masters in Social Work from London South Bank University. She now runs a breakfast and after school Club in South East London.
Taking the front lead in the fashion sector, Pinky Lomo was dressed by one of her close friends, Jumoke Animashaun who is a top fabric merchant in Lagos. She runs the popular fabric store, Elsies Fabric. She really stood out at the party. She stole the show with 3 of her other friends who also wore the same lace and Ankara with her, in fact, the same style. Pinky dazzled in a lovely and expensive orange HOH lace, an orange Aso Oke headgear,18k gold jewellery from a big-time gold merchant in London, Aralamo Ashabi who runs the popular Jamond jewellery. Her 3 close friends which include London big babe, Bose Etuaje Ogunfunmilade also rocked the same lace and jewellery with her from the same designer. Canada big babe, Yewande Olulaanu popularly known as wendy and Jumoke Animashaun wore the same lace but their similar 18k gold was from a US gold merchant, Tolu of supreme empire jewellery. They later changed their outfit for the second time to the Ankara Aso Ebi which they sowed in the same style. All these ladies looked extremely beautiful and what do you expect from many of their friends, they dazzled in their 18k gold and had fun at the party, supporting each other in their gorgeous style, expensive jewellery, finesse, class and what have you. The party can be tagged a party where 18k gold was the invitation that practically everyone present was wearing.
Over 100 big babes stormed the party and most of them were in cliques. At the party was Olori Aramide Sekinat Elegushi popularly called Queen Gushi, the pretty wife of Oba Saheed Elegushi. She is very simple when it comes to style but give it to her, she understands the language of fashion such that she always nails all her outfit, makeup, jewellery and even her shoes and bags. She is very style-conscious and no wonder, many babes always rally round her not forgetting that she’s also got a good heart and very friendly too. Another big babe at the party is the CEO of The Elites Nigeria, a news website, Kemi Akinyemi popularly called Abeke. She is a top journalist who has carved a niche for herself in society reporting in Nigeria.
She writes society stories and knows about celebrities lifestyle like the palm of her hands. She also stormed the party to support her very good friend, Pinky. When the jeweller who kitted the celebrant is at the party, what do you expect her to wear? Jamond Jewelry boss, Aralamo Ashabi proved her worth and wore a simple but 18k gold chandelier earring. We sighted Alhaja Kafilat Oriyomi, one of the society matriarchs who reign supreme in London and in Lagos, she was there to celebrate with Pinky. Not forgetting Alhaja Montai Okesanjo, she runs the popular shoe store on Allen in Ikeja. Popular fashion designer and US Big babe, Alaari was also very prominent. She wore a very lovely style and was seen in the midst of Kemi Akinyemi and Olori Aramide Elegushi. What about Yetunde Anifowose, Bimpe Adewusi, Mobola, Bili, Mrs Tairat Dosunmu, Bukky Adeola and Jumoke, they glowed beautifully.
Also noticed at the party were also 4 friends who stole the show too. Popular Lagos fabric merchant, Doyin of Sweet fabrics stormed the event with 3 of her friends and they opted for a fine white lace while the Ankara was used as the headgear. It came out beautifully well on them. Yinka Aisha, the brain behind the luxury fashion house, Royal Rack fashion was also at the party. She was there with some of her friends, the likes of Olayinka Aregbesola and co. At the party were also Yewande Buraimoh Igbo who came all the way from Canada, Bushrat Laniwun, Yetunde Saidat Balogun and host of others. Some big boys also came to honour the Oyebades, the likes of Apostle Rotimi Martins, Gboyega Okegbenro, BisoyeFagade, Lagos Commissioner, Wale Ahmed, Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Adewale Akanbi and others.
