City People Hosts FEMI SOLAR In LAGOS

It was a gathering of popular music acts, and broadcasters, as well as the movers and shakers of the society, who stormed City People Events Centre on Sunday 11th March, 2018, when City People Magazine hosted foremost Ibadan musician, Femi Solar, who is Yinka Ayefele’s sing alike.

The event kicked off at exactly 5pm that Sunday when popular radio presenter, Wale Dada, The Good, mounted the stage to kick-start the programme.

Subsequently, another On Air Personality better known as MC Kirikiri joined him to co-compere the event. With them at a show, there would never be a dull moment as they were both churning out hilarious banters that thrilled guests and relaxed tge atmosphere to reflect the mood of celebration. They really gave the a good account of professionalism in them.
Shortly after that, the celebrator, Solar, and his band were invited on stage for his first performance, which lasted for almost an hour.

Thereafter, the mic was made available for other musicians at the event to display their talents. Performances came from the likes of Adegbodu Twins, Lara Picollo, Demola Suzzy, Bisola Testimony among others.

A renowned radio presenter on Bond FM, Bewaji Adekunle, was not left out in adding spices to the already chummy event as he took the mic to present live radio programme on stage, which guests couldn’t help, but to spree him beyond expectations.

One of those who dazzled on the occasion is the founder of of Avilla Mountain,located in Ibadan, Oyo State and London, Prophetess Mary Olubori Olajunwon. She was on a spending spree. She dazzled with foreign currency and she made sure all the performing acts on stage as the MCs got their shares.

It was a different drama entirely when Prince Adeyinka Adetoyi, the man, who turned Femi Solar to a self spraying machine got to the stage during Femi’s second performance. As expected, he only positioned himself in front of Solar, who was taking the money in bundles.

Chief Muyiwa Akala, a clearing and forwarding agent, was not left out of those who made the event memorable. Asiwaju Lanre Kolade, a popular society man, was also present. He was spotted at the event looking cool, calm and connected. Much later, he stood before Solar to honour him with cool cash, which he was given out in bundles.
