As SAHEED OJUBANIRE Resumes Work
With the good step now passing him across as one of the most organized Fuji music artistes in Nigeria, Abeokuta, Ogun State-based Fuji music star, Alhaji (Dr.) Sefiu Alao Adekunle popularly known as Baba Oko, has unveiled a seasoned journalist of more than 15 years experience as his new Media Manager.
At a Press Conference which was held at his personally built towering Corporate Office at Ago’ba area of Abeokuta, on Thursday, February 27th, 2020, the talented singer also fondly called Agbara Orin introduced one Mr. Saheed Ojubanire, a freelance reporter with popular celebrity magazine, City People who doubles as a signed writer on the soar away Opera News Hub as his Fuji Cadoso Band’s new Media Manager.
“Mr. Saheed Ojubanire is a freelance journalist with popular celebrity magazine, City People, and also a signed content creator with the fast growing Opera News Hub on the Internet. And as a matter of fact, he is also a contributor to a number of other entertainment publications in Nigeria,” Sefiu Alao said in part at the Press Conference. He also stated that, henceforth, every media issue about him and his band should be directed at Ojubanire.
Speaking further on why he decided to bring on a print journalist as his new Media Manager, he asserted that, “We have decided to engage a print media professional because we are in the age of social media where a lot of stories, both true and untrue, pop up by the minute online, and the people will not know which to believe or dismiss as fake news. So, this means proper information management by a brand like our own is key in this kind of time. Therefore, by having our own designated media man, we believe every story, before being published by reputable media organizations like yours can be verified through our media office. That is the structure we are putting in place today. And as you can see, this is being done in our new Corporate Office,” he told the Pressmen who listened to him with rapt attention while he read his address in immaculate English.
And after delivering his well laid out address, the journalists who were invited to the unveiling from The Punch Newspaper, The Guardian Newspaper, The Nigerian Tribune, Daily Trust Newspaper, City People Magazine, Alaroye Magazine and Gbelegbo Magazine, we’re given enough time to interact and ask further questions from him and his new Media Manager from their different areas of interest before the Press Conference that lasted for more than an hour was brought to a close.
