‘Classy’ is the most appropriate word to describe the event starting from the venue down to the music, the overall entertainment, guests, security, menu, ushers and the general run of the event as popular Lagos based female politician, Honorable Fateema Aduke Mohammed clocked and celebrated her 47th birthday in grand style. The environment was very serene but the vibe inside the auditorium was simply ecstatic from the beginning till the very end. Although the event was on a busy evening of Wednesday, July 24th, 2018, guests damned the traffic prone Lagoe environment and trooped out en-masse to show love to their favourite female politician. There was never a dull moment at any point in time. The love showered on Hon Fatee by all her guests only explains why she is so famous within and outside her constituency and how she has been able to impact lives positively. CLASSY VENUE FOR A CLASSY EVENT
The event held at the prestigious Governor’s Hotel and Apartment inside Omole Phase 1 Estate, Ojodu Lagos. It was a venue meant for only a select few but those who had access to the venue where people of timber and caliber. Those who mattered to the celebrant and some of the biggest names from all walks of life, especially in politics and media cum entertainment, were present.
DJ RHYMEBABA OPENS THE FLOOR
Welcoming guests on the wheel of steel with sound blasts was DJ RhymeBaba, a popular disc jockey in the heart of Lagos. He ran the show till the live band came to take over. If he was the only one to provide music for the day, the audience would have still been maximally satisfied with the kind of performance he put up. His music cut across all generation filling the gap for both the old and young guests who came to honour the birthday Queen.
MC OKUNDALAIYEAYODELE ANCHORS SHOW
The anchor of the event was at choice MC who only surfaces in classy events such as this. He is MC OkundalaiyeAyodele, a man of very few words but full of actions. His style of anchoring is simply classy and out of this world. He gave the audience everything to cheer and also gave room for the live band to do their thing. Call him a complete professional and you will not be wrong in any way.
ABOUT THE CELEBRANT
Hon Fateema Aduke Mohammed was the PDP Candidate during the 2019 Federal House of Representatives election. She ran as a lawmaker in IFAKO IJAIYE Federal Constituency. She is not just a politician but also a business mogul and philanthropist. She is a feminist with a philosophy that having more women in decision-making roles as a voice for underrepresented groups in the society has the potential to bring a diversity of ideas that might find solutions to the country’s socio-economic challenges.
HON FATEE’S TABLE TO TABLE SALUTE
Many who are very close to Hon Fatee have oftentimes described her to be humble and cheerful. She demonstrated this during her birthday bash as she moved round every table to personally greet all her guests who were already seated even before the ceremonial celebrant’s entry. In her opinion, there would not be any celebration if the guests were not present; hence, the need to show gratitude to those who took out time to celebrate with her.
JIMI AGBAJE, OTHER TOP PDP DIGNITARIES STORM EVENT
The former PDP Lagos gubernatorial candidate, Mr Jimi Agbaje led several other PDP big guns to the event. Mr Agbaje who is not known to be a party freak took out time to celebrate with his fellow party member. This gesture only points out how important Hon Fatee is to the PDP Lagos family as well other Lagosians too. Also in attendance was the Lagos PDP General Secretary, Mr Muiz Shodipe, and IfakoIjaiye Local Government leader, Dr Esan. Hon Tope Jah of IfakoIjaiye and Hon Afeez from Lagos Island federal constituency were also present.

To say that Hon Fatee’s day was indeed honorable will be an understatement for the delectable politician. Her traditional celebrant’s entry was simply beautiful. She was dressed in a well-embellished Lace with glittering stones. Friends, families and very important personalities were among her very long entourage.
YOMI FASHLANSO WAS PRESENT TOO
Nollywood star, YomiFashLanso also added to the list of top dignitaries that graced Hon Fatee’s birthday bash. He was dressed in a very simple but expensive shirt and trousers. So many of his fans were found clustering around him for selfies and autographs.

TV personality, Bashir Adisa aka Baba Gboin and General Manager, Faaji FM, Ambrose Shomide were among the VIP media practitioners that graced the occasion. City People Publisher, Dr. SeyeKehinde and Global Excellence Publisher, Mr Mayor Akinpelu also marked their presence.
ABBEY & HIS AWESOME BAND THRILL GUESTS
His performance all through the show was breathtaking. Led by the band leader Abbey, the Awesome Band sang every genre of music to the listening pleasure of the audience and left everyone asking for more. Starting from the celebrant’s entrance down to the dance session, the Awesome Band was equal to the task. At some point, some guests who sat farther away from the stage argued that the music was being supplied by a DJ. The reason was simple, Abbey & his awesome band played and sang each track the exact ways their original singers sang them. Starting from Juju, to Hip Hop, Rap Afro, Fuji, Apala, R&B, and Soul, His Awesome band did justice to them all. The guests were indeed lucky to have received such a special musical treat from this splendid band.
HON FATEE CUTS SIX CAKES
It was a festival of cake as six cakes were displayed for Hon Fatee Mohammed. The beautifully decorated cakes simply told the guests how loved and famous Hon Fatee had become amongst her people.
SK ANCHORS CAKE CUTTING SESSION
City People Publisher, Dr Seye Kehinde was called by the MC on the instruction of the celebrant to anchor the cake cutting session and he did with utmost delight. First to join the celebrant for the cutting and picture session were her beloved children. The PDP Lagos family, friends and close associates, media gurus, celebrities and other family members and well-wishers also joined the cake cutting session.
COMMAND SECONDARY SCHOOL IPAJA ALUMNI
The 1989 Set of Command Secondary School, Ipaja came to show one of their own that she matters to them. The group came in a large number to celebrate HinFatee Mohammed. After some time, they took over the dance floor and showered love on a woman who has impacted positively in their lives.
DANCE! DANCE!! DANCE!!!
It was dance galore all the way as Abbey and His Awesome Band delivered good music to the pleasure of the audience. Guests were not mindful of the time at all as virtually everyone present was on the floor twisting and shaking to the tunes that ooze out of the speakers in the auditorium. It was a night to remember for the celebrant, the guests and even the live band. It will be an evening to be remembered for a long time because there was maximum fun.
UNLIMITED MENU
To say that the menu was unlimited is an understatement. There was plenty of food and several options to select from. The local menu included Ofada, AbulaGbibona, Iyan Elewe, Ikokore, Asaro & Ata sue sue, and Ewa Aganyi. On the main menu, there was Smoky Fried Rice, Assorted Moin Moin, Vegetable Salad, Coconut Rice and White Rice. The soup list had Efo Riro, Efo Egusi, Gbegiri & Ewedu, Ethnic Ayamase and Egusi Ijebu. The Chinese menu had special fried rice, shredded beef with vegetables, prawn in corn oyster sauce, diced chicken and green pepper, special pineapple ring with vegetables & prawn. On the protein list was assorted meat, peppered spicy chicken, battered peppered chicken, fresh fish, spicy peppered snail and succulent panla fish. After meal menu had spring roll, samosa, puff puff and mosa. The meals were prepared and packaged by Olowosibi signature.
