Kola Abiola accompanied by Deji Abiola, Agbo Abiola and his son Zayd, Bolaji Kuku, Wura Abiola and Tosin Odusanya, paid a courtesy visit to the Kabiyesi on the 4th of July, 2020.
Kola Abiola recalled the Kabiyesi’s stellar career of service to Lagos State and Nigeria, and expressed confidence that the monarch will similarly leverage this new position to serve the Oniru kingdom in an exemplary manner. He prayed for Allah’s wisdom for the King and admonished him to build on the ancestor’s good work to leave a lasting legacy for generations to come. Kola Abiola noted the long relationship between the family and the King, and assured him of their support.
Kola Abiola also commended the Olori for her support and dedication to the Kabiyesi over more than 2 decades.
The Oba shared his vision to rebrand, redevelop and rejuvenate the Oniru kingdom, drawing upon expertise in social development and economics.
The Oniru and Olori gave the visitors a brief tour of the palace, being retrofitted to serve the people better under a dynamic modern monarch.
