•For Mother’s Burial
One of the events that will not be forgotten in a hurry is the final burial ceremony of late Special Mother-In-Isreal, Titilola Sobakin-Sopein, who was recently laid to rest in her home town, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Friends, family members and well-wishers trooped to the ancient through all road networks that lead to Ogun State, as celebs and important dignitaries came from across the world to pay their last respect and to support their own, Sade Ojo, a London-based celebrity who happens to be one of the daughters of the deceased, the late Mother-In-Isreal, Titilola Sobakin Sopein.
Late Mother-In-Isreal, Titilola Sobakin Sopein (nee) Adeogun, who died on 11th August, 2020, in accordance with many testimonies shared about her. She was born on the 8th of May, 1931, into the family of Pa and Madam Adeogun of blessed memory at Akintoye town, Odeda, Ogun State. Her father was the late Baale of Akintoye town, Odeda, and she was the 6th out of the 7 children of her mother.
She was said to be an assiduous businesswoman, who got married to Special Apostle Benjamin Oluwole Sobakin-Sopein in 1952 and moved to Jos, Plateau State to settle with her husband. Mama was blessed with 5 children grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a devoted Christian and a member of the C&S Church Movement, Isale Abetu, Abeokuta. You need no one to tell you that she held a special position in this church as the whole congregation was brought down to her home for the burial service. Mama in her lifetime, was conferred with the title of Iya Ijo C&S Church Movement, Isale-Abetu, Abeokuta through her dedication, devotion to the service of the Lord.
According to Sade Ojo, the London-based daughter, Madam Titilola Sobakin-Sopein was a very humble, generous, caring and resilent mother. “My precious mother was a sweet angel full of love to her children, family, all church members and people around her. She didn’t give blames to anyone up to her death, she keeps on loving all her children, not reporting anyone to the other. I will always choose her to be my mother. My prayer for the family and the church of the Lord is for God Almighty to keep all of us safe. Iya Ijo, my loving mum, sun re o ni aya Jesu Oluwa wa Amin”.
The funeral rites for late Mother-In-Israel, Titilola Sobakin-Sopein in Abeokuta commenced with service of songs at R701 Itori Odo, Abeokuta, Ogun State on Thursday, 29th October 2020, while on Friday 30th; Lying-In-State funeral service and interment were held at her residence, 7, Adigbe G.R.A. Quarry road, Abeokuta, where she was also laid to her final rest.
AT THE RECEPTION
To control the crowd, the reception was held at 2 venues. All the church members and family, were at her residence at Kuforiji Olubi road, Adigbe, while guests from London, Lagos and other states were entertained at the prestigious OOPL Events Centre, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Indeed OOPL Event Centre remains one of the event centres in Abeokuta to hold such a classy event. It was a conducive environment, such that you don’t have to be scared where to park your car. The serenity, the atmosphere and the services of the hall attendants were top-notch.
The hall is a 700-guest capacity and it was already decorated to suit your taste.
SADE OJO PLAYS HOST TO GUESTS
The beautiful, well-decorated hall was filled to the brim, however, there was enough to eat and to drink for every guest. Celebrity lady, Sade Ojo, made sure that there were varieties of food for all her guests. All you needed was to tell the service girls was what you wanted, complemented with assorted drinks.
