Nigerian Gospel Singer St. Chika Breaks World Record For “Longest Officially Released Song”

Nigerian gospel singer Chika Nwaogu who goes by the moniker St. Chika has officially broken the Guinness World record for “Longest Officially Released Song”, joining other Nigerians like Kaffy and DJ Obi.

The song which held the record in this category was “El Manifiesto” by Dominican rapper Henry G which lasts 3 hours, 26 minutes and 22 seconds. St. Chika now holds the record with a 4 hours, 2 minutes and 4 seconds-long single titled “Power In The Name Of The Lord” which features 64 verses.

The 28-year old graduate of Physics from the University of Lagos began recording the song on Sunday, May 20th and finished on Thursday, May 24, 2018.
