Nigerian top singer, Simisola Ogunleye, popularly referred to as Simi, has revealed the title and release date for her new album ‘Omo Charlie Champagne.’
Simi took to her Instagram page to disclose that the long-anticipated body of work will hit the airwaves on her birthday, April 19 – which is exactly a month from now.
“On the day that I was born, my next album will be born,” she wrote.
Since the release of her most recent single ‘Ayo,’ the X3M Music signed artist, Simi had constantly hinted to her followers on social media that her forthcoming album was a work in progress.
In January, the ‘Jerome’ singer collaborated with Adekunle Gold, her husband, to release an epic love song titled ‘Promise’.
The award-winning singer’s forthcoming album will be her third studio effort. She had released ‘Ogaju,’ her debut studio album in 2008, while ‘Simisola’ was a big hit in 2017.
