When TB Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), condoled with Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), over the death of Dare Adeboye, his son, he did not know his own passing was near.
Joshua died on Saturday, a month after the demise of the younger Adeboye. The synagogue preacher had suffered a stroke two months ago.
While the SCOAN founder died on June 5, Dare died in his sleep on May 5
The younger Adeboye was buried on May 11.
Speaking at a service after the death of the younger Adeboye, the SCOAN founder said it is how well an individual lives that matters and not how long.
Joshua prayed to God to comfort the Adeboye family and strengthen the RCCG ministry.
“Let us use this opportunity to remember our pastor’s son. God does not need our permit, God’s time is the best. It is not how long that matters but how well. It is not how long we live that matters but how well we live,” he said.
