Tiwa Savage has clearly curt a name for her self in the Nigerian music scene, aka boss lady of Nigerian music. She’s proven this time and again since we first got acquainted with her back in 2010.
The then 30 year old arrived the burgeoning Nigerian music scene as no spring chicken, but ready to give the young ones and the men a run for their money.
In her 8 years plus in the Nigerian entertainment scene, Tiwa has graced the most prestigious stages both home and abroad. She’s appeared in the highly acclaimed MTV series, ‘Shuga’, as well as worked with some of the biggest brands in Nigeria such as Pampers, Forte Oil and Pepsi.
Tiwa hasn’t just wished her way to the top. In an industry where an artist’s life span lasts only as long their last single, Tiwa has managed to stay relevant and keep us entertained with her music, personal life and her headline-making stage costumes.
So we salute and hail one who has made a name for herself and from the looks of things, would still be around for some time on her 38th birthday today Monday, February 5th.
