It was a convergence of celebrities from within and outside Nigeria on Saturday 28 December, 2019, in Ibadan, as US big babe, Abosede Ogunfolajin’s mom, Mrs. Temilade Ogunrolaji celebrated her 70th birthday in grand style. The party, held at Olasoji Hall, opposite the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER), U.I area of Ibadan, was classy and glamorous. Right from the entrance of the reception venue, which was exclusively branded with the celebrator’s adorable photographs, to the decoration of the Hall (in Green, White and Gold colors), menu and the quality of quests, everything was just on point. Not to talk of the beautifully decorated 3-steps birthday cake, which comes in White and Gold. The party was superb.
Prominent celebrities from Nigeria, U.S, Canada, London, etc stormed the party to honour Abosede and her siblings. Afro Juju crooner, Sir Shina Peters was on bandstand. While Jade’s Cuisine catered for the guests. The duo of Deola Lawal and Lara supplied small chops. Eddy handled the decoration. Though the New Jersey-based top businessman Kenny Adebayo of Global Altra Logistics couldn’t make it to the party, but he was much involved. ABOUT THE CELEBRATOR
To say Mrs. Temilade Olabode Mercy Ogunfolajin’s life is a fulfilled one would be like stating an obvious; she has tasted the two sides of life and came out strong at 70. She is religious, warm and kind but highly disciplined. She is also a good mother not only to her biological children but many others. She was born on 10th of September, 1948, to the royal family of Adegbite from Iwo land. She is a well read, widely travelled pharmacist. Aside her studies in Nigeria, she is as well trained and worked in the U.K, where she became Pharmacy Assistant. Having meritoriously served for 40 years at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC), she retired in 2009. She is a devoted member of C.A.C, Oke-Imole, Oluwatedo DCC Agbowo, Ibadan, where she belongs to the Evangelical Group 6 Women. Mama is happily married to Mr. Albert Oluwole Ogunrolaji and their marriage is blessed with lovely children.
MEET MAMA’S CHILDREN
Though Mrs. Temilade Ogunfolajin is described as the mother of all; most of those who gave tributes at her 70th birthday party testified to that fact. She is said to have raised quite a number of children, even those who are not her biological children, who are now successful in the various chosen fields. So, as she was surrounded by her children at the birthday ceremony, many of her adopted children were also present. Her children, however, include Olugbenga Funminiyi Ogunfolajin, a Prison Director in Dallas Texas; Abosede Folashade Ogunfolajin, a U.S based top textile merchant and I.T Consultant; Olukayode Olufemi Ogunfola, a Sales Manager at a mattress manufacturing company in the United States and Oyenike Atinuke Ogunfolajin who is a practicing nurse in Atlanta Georgia. They are all based in America and doing excellently well. Their mom is also based in America, Atlanta. She comes home two times a year.
WHY MAMA’S FIRST GRANDCHILD COULDN’T MAKE IT TO THE PARTY
Though Mrs. Temilade Ogunfolajin gave an instruction that all her children and grandchildren must attend the birthday party, but her first grandchild, Sharon Abimbola Olaide missed out of action at the party. She is said to be busy, writing her exams in America. Sharon, the lovely daughter of Abosede Ogunfolajin, is grandma’s favourite.

Bose is a well connected big babe in Nigeria and American, where she plays big in both business and on the social scene. She is an I.T consultant and luxury fabric merchant. Her business clientele cuts across U.S and Nigeria. Apart from being a business-oriented lady, Bose is also blessed with an astonishing beauty. She took after her mom in that aspect, seeing Mama Ogunfolajin you won’t believe she is already 70. Back in her university days, Bose is an ex-beauty queen in the University of Ibadan. She was Miss Idia Hall in 1997 in U. I and up till now the beauty has not diminished in any way. She rocked in her multicolor/sequence net Austria lace with 18 carats rose Gold with Diamond, which she bought from Victoria of Luxury Line in Italy. She compliments it with Versace purse and shoes and Ipele Aso-Oke from Jadron. Her sister, Oyenike wore the lace with her while firstborn of the family, Olugbenga and their parents wore Burgundy with a touch of Green Aso-Oke.

The birthday celebration was indeed a 2-in-1 celebration for the celebrator and her family; a day before the party her first child, Olugbenga Ogunfolajin launched a new house. The house was said to be a massive one.

The beautiful wife of the traditional ruler of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Elegushi, Olori Sekinat was at the party in her best element. She was looking radiant and elegant in her iro and blouse Aso-Ebi with expensive jewellery to go with it. She was one of the society women who rocked the 300 dollars lace Aso-Ebi for the party. For those who may not know, Olori Sekinat and Abosede are best of friends. They have come through thick and thin together, they have also had their fair share of social media bad energy.
