It’s a happy year for star actress, Halima Abubakar who just welcomed a bouncing baby boy, lot of people were surprised with the news, as many didn’t know she was pregnant and she didn’t flaunt her pregnancy at all. City People Senior Showbiz Reporter, Biodun Alao asked with the delectable actress on how she feels about her bundle of joy and why the decision to keep the news about the pregnancy until delivery. She was able to say few things despite the fact, that she needed rest and enough attention for the baby.

As a celebrity everything about you is expected to be in the open, why did you decide to keep this till after delivery?
I keep my life generally out of the public eyes because that’s how I programmed myself, since my childhood so why will I act immature and be all over because I was pregnant.it is a blessing, I cherish my private life.
This is indeed a special moment for the delectable actress considering the fibroid complications she went through few years ago, many thought she won’t survive, and even if she does, she won’t be able to conceive again. She was diagnosed with a uterine fibroid and had a complication, then she went for a second surgery to treat complication from the first surgery, so after going through all these, God was still faithful to bless her with a child. When asked how she feels setting her eyes on the baby, this is what she said? I’m still staring at the baby like who brought a baby home. He is a sweet miracle and a gift, I was told I could not conceive, so God showed out. I talk to him in a very calm manner, I affirm good energy and sing, pray for him, all he does is laugh, oh my chest, I’m in love.
Halima maintains a very cordial relationship with popular musicians Rugged man and Jaywon, they were both aware of her pregnancy till, after delivery, they kept it to themselves until she made it public herself.
