It was a night of Glitz and Glamour on Saturday 11th of January 2020 when the Doyen of Manufacturing in Nigeria, Aare Rasak Akanni Okoya held a classy 80th birthday at his Oluwanishola mansion Lekki, Lagos. The event which had the who is who on the Nigerian social scene had many Nigerian celebrity women converging under the same roof to mingle and socialize throughout the night.
Of course, many of the society women didn’t only look forward to the party with the Okoyas to socialise, some society women who know the Okoyas for throwing one of the best parties in town also knew they had to look many times prettier whenever they are attending their parties.

For her husband birthday, she made her first appearance at few minutes past 9pm clad in a luxury yellow damask flowing Cinderella gown uniquely designed by Bunmi Olatunji, the CEO of Bunmibunmi fashion house. Her flawless skin was beautified by celebrity make-up artist, Teniola Kashamu, the brain behind, Tenicoco makeover. She wore her first attire with a luxury timeless white diamond with yellow diamond stones. Her second attire was a light cream yellow blouse and wrapper. It was uniquely designed by Bunmi Olatunji. Another society woman who made a fashion statement that night was Her Royal Highness, Mrs Modupeola Oguntade, the wife of Nigeria High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. She is one of the close big sisters of Dr Folasade who is also highly fashionable. Her choice of fabrics is always unique and she spares no cost to make sure she sources for best jewellery. The disciplinarian who walks with style and panache rocked the same shoe and purse with Dr Folasade Okoya. Of course, it is deliberate as they both love and adore each other so well.

These Okoyas in-laws looked so pretty as they walked into Okoya’s mansion at few minutes past 8 pm. Spotted in white Luxury Gold, they rocked the Adejoke Gele which was the Headgear Aso-Ebi while their purse compliments their shoe.
Olori Aramide Elegushi is unarguably the most stylish Lagos Queen. The pretty wife of Oba Ademola Saheed Elegushi, the Onikate of Ikateland walked like a princess that she is in the arms of her husband. Of course many of the guests didn’t expect anything less than luxury knowing that she is a gold and diamond collector who wears best Gold and diamond at Lagos owambe.
While we were busy admiring Olori Aramide, Olori Abimbola Noimot Dosumu walked in. She is the pretty wife of Oba Dosumu, the Olori Eyo of Lagos. just like her husband who loves to wear luxury designers shoes, his wife, Olori Noimat has flair for 18carat Gold. Don’t forget that she is a Lagos princess before she married Akinsiku of Lagos. It’s no doubt that she complements her husband in all ways.
