The Secretariat of the 2018 Grand National Summit slated for Wednesday in Abuja, is once again compelled to reiterate our agenda to adopt a criteria for backing prospective political aspirants in the 2019 elections at the Summit
According to a statement issued by spokesperson of the Summit, Mallam Naseer Kura on Monday in Abuja, a crucial aspect of the Summit agenda is establishing and adopting a formidable criteria and basis for supporting any Presidential candidate in the 2019 elections
This Summit is critical and very important to the Nigerian electorates as it will serve as the decider of the political fate of Buhari, Atiku, Kwakwanso, Col Umar and all others jostling to lead Nigeria in 2019. We believe eminent National leaders and leading political activists at the Summit may not spare a chance in determining who is best suited to lead Nigeria into their envisioned Future
Another factor in favour of this move is that heavily mobilised leaders of the Nigerian Youths, women, vulnerable persons with special needs, labour and civil society activists who have been marginalized overtime by Nigeria’s political system will also like to seize this rare opportunity of this Summit to make a point about the leadership of the country
As it is the design of our Grand Coalition to provide leadership and platform for all marginalized and exploited Peoples of Nigeria, we have therefore resolved to mobilise and enter into a strong alliance with mass of the Nigerian workers in the Nigerian labour movement and some fresh revolutionary political parties ahead the grand summit. This is reason why the leadership of the labour movement and some fresh political movements will be playing key roles at the summit on Wednesday
Signed
