To say that the Oyo State political atmosphere is becoming interesting by the day is like stating an obvious. Not even with the level of alignment and re-alignment presently going on across political parties.
Where those who had before now perceived to be political foes are coming together to form alliance; Akala, Folarin and many are now team in APC. Likewise the former Accord leader in the state former Governor Adewolu Ladoja and Engr. Seyi former of Labour Party have since pinched their tent together in PDP. In the midst of all these however, one man whose name has continually revibrating as far as Oyo PDP Guber ticker is concerned, is Engr.
Seyi Makinde. Some political watchers in the state are of the opinion that Seyi Makinde is most suitable for the job. They believe apart from his intimidating C.V, he is relatively the youngest amongst those who have signified interest in PDP guber ticket.
It is also believed that only Seyi Makinde presently has the financial capacity to prosecute an election of such magnitude. Coupled with his electoral value; he is been able to earn respect from good number of people across the state. Especially with his Omituntun Foundation, which has seen to poverty alleviation among the grass root, youth empowerment, old people care services and others..
