There are lots of beautiful housing estates in Lekki, Lagos where celebrities love and dream to live. Starting from Lekki Phase 1 to Sangotedo, there are lots of beautiful estates and many celebrities and high profile personalities who are still living elsewhere desire to move to Lekki corridor to feel the serene and cool atmosphere other celebrities enjoy there. Presently, there are few locations in Lekki/Ajah axis where development are on the high side and mini estates are springing up on daily basis. These estates are beautifully built and the price is not on the high side. Some of celebrities are currently moving there because of the environment and its many features. Abraham Adesanya road in Ajah is a new destination for many celebrities who want to live in Lekki/Ajah axis. Abraham Adesaya is after Ilaje, Ajah roundabout, after Ajah. The road is also known as Ogombo road; it’s a road that leads to Ogombo town. Presently, a lot of property companies have moved to this axis where a plot of land is selling for 25-30 million naira, depending on the title of the land. Real estate companies have also developed various housing estates on the road where celebrities now buy. Some are buying in instalment or full payment. It’s relatively cheap compared to Lekki Phase 1 houses. A lot of celebrities are now moving to the area to live.
Another location in Lekki where celebrities now buy property is Orchid road. Orchid is a road at Eleganza bus stop in Lekki. It’s a road opposite the Oluwa Ni’ Sola Estate.
Presently a lot of housing estates have sprung up on this axis and many property companies have moved there. Over 100 property companies are currently doing one housing project or the others in the axis. This is the road where popular Big brother Naija winner Mercy Eke lives. She bought one of the houses built by the popular Lagos real estate tycoon, Dr Kennedy Okonkwo, who is the MD, Nedcomoaks properties. There are a lot of big celebrities on the axis and it’s gradually becoming the hot spot for big names, who desire comfort and a serene environment.
Sangotedo is another hot location currently in hot demand. The next popular place or community if you are coming from Ajah is Sangotedo. It’s a town where many top property firms build remarkable houses for celebrities who need comfort in a serene and cool environment. Houses in Sangotedo. Sangotedo is a town after Lagos Business School and a plot of land in the town goes as high as 20-30 million naira. Real estate firms are building a different type of houses like terraces, bungalows, duplexes etc for celebrities to key into. And a lot of them (celebrities) are living there to enjoy their privacy and comfort.
Another one is Chevy-View Estate in Chevron, Lekki, it’s a big location now for celebrities. Chevy-View is a location where top celebrities dream to live. It’s a bit expensive though but it’s a nice environment for anyone who wants to spend money on comfort.
Chevy View Estate is located along Chevron drive, off the Lekki – Epe Expressway and directly opposite the head office of Chevron Nigeria Limited. It is about 30 min – 1-hour drive to Victoria Island during rush hour traffic and 20 minutes without traffic (typically during weekends).
The estate isn’t exclusively residential, as there are several businesses located within; ranging from schools, hotels and various offices. Non-residents can enter the estate freely, although sometimes searches are carried out on cars entering and leaving the estate.
Most houses in the estate are duplexes (semi & fully detached; terraces) and most residents are upper-class high income earning families. Many of the buildings were built by estate developers who buy lands, build and then sell. Property appreciation within the estate is high because of its location, the environment, and better traffic situation when compared to places further down towards Ajah. The estate is quite similar to Ikota Villa estate, but the property is more expensive.
Chevy drive/Alternative route. This location is after Chevy-view, behind the Chevron office in Lekki, Lagos. This location has a lot of housing estates and a lot of real estates firms have positioned themselves in that area. It’s a location where celebrities live and enjoy their stay. Housing properties in this area is quite expensive but most houses are beautifully built and completed.
