Hon Kayode Amusan Dumps Ogun PDP For APC

Hon Kayode Amusan has dumped PDP for the APC. Over the weekend he had meetings with National leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu where he was assured of accommodation in APC. He is to work for APCs victory at Saturday’s Guberand House of Assembly elections.

The news of Amusan’s defection came as a shock to many. He had wanted to contest for the Ogun Central Senatorial seat on the platform of his former party the PDP but the internal wranglings in the party which is in court prevented him.

Over the weekend, Hon Amusan sent a terse message to friends, political associates and well-wishers informing them of his decision to join APC.”After much thought, I have decided to cross to APC. Reason for such move will be transmitted later.”
