Leicester are aiming to overturn a 2-1 deficit after the first leg when they play Sevilla in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie tonight.

French midfielder Nampalys Mendy will be missing for Leicester after he suffered a knee injury during training.

The second leg represents the Foxes’ first home knockout game in Europe’s premier club competition.

They were outplayed in the first leg in Spain but were given hope thanks to Jamie Vardy’s second-half goal.

Meanwhile, Craig Shakespeare, who is now Leicester’s manager until the end of the season, was asked if his side, can turn around a 2-1 deficit in tonight’s second leg of the Champions League last 16, said:

“Why not? was Shakespeare’s reply. “We are in it, we have to try to be competitive in every game.

“For me there is no free game in football, you have to try to win every game you go into and show that determination and competitiveness and we need to show that in abundance tomorrow night.

“We know the importance of getting that goal. It is going to be a huge task but hopefully with the crowd – and we make a good atmosphere here – we can go through.”
