Tuesday, 2nd April, this year (2019), marks the 59th anniversary of Alayeluwa Awujale Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba 11, on the exalted throne of Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Ogun State of Nigeria. Kabiyesi Awujale Adetona 11, received his royal Staff of Office, on 2nd April 1960, Nigeria’s year of Independence from British colonial rule, in Ijebu-Ode, from the then Premier of Western Nigeria, Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola. Long live our revered Awujale Adetona 11, on the exalted throne of Kabiyesi’s forefathers. Amen.
