It is no more news that Genesis Pastor, Israel Oladele Ogundipe is indeed a digital Pastor, as he fondly calls himself. His charisma, mode of preaching and operation is different from other men of God, especially in Nigeria. If you don’t get close to Pastor Ogundipe well enough you will mistake him for a Pentecostal Pastor, why? Because everything about him is different from other Celestial Prophets that we see around. He’s a man of God who teaches, sings and prays in a special way.
Many people have been wondering why the population church keep growing, by the day. The number of first timers they welcome every Sunday services is always enormous. The numbers of people that trooped out when the Genesis Pastor made the altar call for those that joined Celestial Church of Christ from Other Ministries, Like Redeem, MFM, and other Pentecostal Churches, even the Muslims through Genesis Global to come to confirm how God has been so faithful with the Ministry.
There are several doctrines of Celestial Church of Christ Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe doesn’t comply with and it’s working for him. There many things he’s doing that clearly shows that he’s indeed a Digital Pastor. There are many don’ts of the Celestial Church that he does for example: Celestial Church is known to many people as a church where members go through spiritual bath; a process where you have to go to the river for prayer and bath, but at Genesis Global, it is unacceptable. He said this while ministering on the altar at the Church 2019 Harvest.
According to him “There are many things I stopped and they want to kill me because of it. At Genesis, we don’t go to the river. You cannot tie banana up and said you want to pluck it in this church, when you are not a monkey. We don’t eat “Ipeese”. if you are to prepare feast for 5000 people, do you know the numbers of cows that will go for it. We don’t go to the wilderness; i cannot go to the wilderness and pray for anybody, whatever we want to pray let’s pray it in the open. What is my size that i will follow you to the wilderness? And when they kidnap me, who will i call.
We don’t need stream in our church. We are not a mediocre. The same river you go to, it is the same river herbalist in Ifo visited and bath for his customers. The water will flow from Ifo to Sango, the bad luck somebody has washed in Ifo, you will enter the river and bath with the same water. Meanwhile, before the water get to Sango, the water has flown to Ajegunle, where a butcher man has washed the blood of cows into it. The water left Ajegunle and flew to Amje, where a miscreant has bathed, and before he bath, he has first defecated inside it, yet it is this same water you will give someone soap and sponge to go and bath. Where is the blood of Jesus? Where is the name of Jesus? Where is the power of Jesus? The bible says at the mention of the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. No wonder we have many Lawyers in our Church. We have many bankers in our church. Many Judges in our church. We don’t go to the stream. What the blood of Jesus cannot do, forget it. I have many young guys that are doing well in this church, how many of them did I take to the river? I have never charge anyone money here. But we are making it, why because you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. I told God to make me a digital Pastor that I don’t want to be an analogue Pastor, and God did it. I told God to perform wonders through me without taking people to the wilderness and he’s doing it. Somebody said to me, Dele, how will you tell your congregation that you are eating okro. Don’t you know that Celestial don’t eat okro? I said why? He said don’t you know eating okro can destroy charms, i asked, do you always use charms? Whenever they give me all this useless stories, i will quickly run to the wives of the founder, that mummy is it true that Celestials don’t eat Okro, is it a crime? She will say, don’t mind them, even Baba Oshoffa used to eat Okro with crab when he was alive. I again asked the man, that what will happen to any celestial member that eats okro? He said the person will be experiencing slow progress. But here I am eating okro and everything is going smoothly. Instead of me to breakdown, i engage in break dancing. Instead of me to breakdown, I’m breaking forth. Instead of me to breakdown, I’m breaking through. Instead of me to breakdown, i break protocols. Why? Because if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things has passed away, everything has becomes new. There are something we need to change in Celestial Church. We need to change from traditional mentality. We need to move from religiosity, mediocrity to authentic spirituality. When the authenticity and originality is establish in Christianity, we will have supernatural capacity in God’s ability to destroy satanic calamity.
