Three years ago she started an all event trade fair called My Grand Events, a yearly event, which has become a household event in and outside Ogun State. Her brand is one of the well-recognized brands in Ogun State and has featured in Lagos markets in recent times. When the Covid-19 lockdown started, Ebunlomo did not let the fact that event centres were shut down affect her business, she quickly went into the fruits business and with the help of Ramadan the business was well accepted and since then it has been their number one call. When it comes to anything that has to do with fruits in town, especially the special fruits basket which can be presented to anyone no matter the occasion, she is their choice. Her new fruits outfit is called Akanke Eleso, she has participated in many big open markets in Lagos. Last week Friday, Akanke Eleso fruits store was officially opened in Onikolobo Area of Abeokuta. Apart from the fact that it was well attended by top celebrity women in Abeokuta, everyone was on a fruits shopping spree as they went home with bags and baskets full of fruits. Ebunlomo just completed an international food course a few weeks ago to ensure proper care of foods and its storage.

America’s big babe, Omowunmi Shomuyiwa, who has spent more than ten years in the US has decided to do something big and beautiful in her home town as she opened a top-notch fabric store in Isale Igbeyin Area of Abeokuta. Omowunmi, before she relocated to America was a graduate at the prestigious Moshood Abiola Polytechnic where she studied Mass Communication. Last week she opened her fabric stores which she called MYKIMZ Exclusive Fabrics. Although it was a small celebration due to the Covid-19 rules, it was attended by those who matter in Ogun State as the store has exotic and beautiful fabrics that attract celebrities.

Ogun popular entrepreneur, Sijuade Adebowale who is the brains behind Xtreme Affair, a clothing line and recycling company has quit bachelorhood to tie the knot with his sweetheart of three years in Ile Ife last week. Big boys and babes especially in the event sector all the way from Ogun State took a trip down to Ile Ife to show love to the hardworking duo. Sijuade met Adeola Oladipupo who is also an entrepreneur at the first edition of My Grand Event three years ago in Abeokuta and since then they became inseparable. They got engaged earlier this year and began their wedding plans. Their wedding was a beautiful one from the decoration to the music and menu.
HOW KASNATY BECAME THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER PRESENTER IN OGUN STATE
Kolawole Adejojo otherwise known as Kasnaty is one of the popular radio presenters in Ogun State. Although he has been an on-air personality for more than ten years, but he became the most celebrated OAP during the first lap of the nationwide lockdown. ABEOKUTA SUPERMARKETS BATTLE FOR SALES AS JUSTRITE SUPERMARKET COMES TO TOWN
It’s been close to two years since Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, yearned for the opening of the biggest mall in Ogun State, Shoprite. Shoprite has been under construction since the administration of Senator Ibikunle Amosun. The construction site is located in Oke Ilewo Jide Jones of Abeokuta but still under construction. In the meantime, new supermarkets like Ace have sprung up and have enjoyed high patronage, while existing ones like Precious, Dimmo, Vanguard, Shalom Mega Store have stepped up their game. Last week, popular supermarket Justrite super stores hosted the Rock City to a grand opening of their supermarket located in Ijeja area of Abeokuta. Since then, the superstore has been enjoying massive patronage from morning till night. It’s obvious it has affected other supermarkets in the town as the attention and traffic inside the other supermarket has been diverted to the new Justrite superstores, which also has other branches all over south-west and another in Ota area of Ogun State, where the supermarket started from close to a decade ago with a small store in Oju Ore area.
OGUN TOP REAL ESTATE BOSS SET TO BURY MOM IN AUGUST
All is now set to commit to mother earth, Mrs Oluremi Julianah Akintunde-Tiyamiyu aged 65, mother of the fast-rising property merchant and chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Mr Armstrong ‘Tope Akintunde.
The burial is scheduled for August 6 and 7 holds at Iperu in Ikenne Local Government Area of the state.
The funeral of the reputable trader and notable politician will begin on Thursday, August 6 with service of songs and wake keep at her residence, 8 Ogere-Abeokuta road, Iperu Remo by 5 pm while the commendation and funeral service will hold on Friday, August 7 at the Methodist Church, Iperu Remo by 10 am
According to a statement from Mr Armstrong’Tope Akintunde, the Aerofield Homes boss and one of the children of the deceased, government protocols for Covid-19 would be employed and so the attendance was strictly by invitation.
The estate developer guru has however described the death of his mother as painful and one least expected at 65 saying that he and his siblings have taken solace in the fact that their mum lived an exemplary life of selfless service.
Akintunde said “my mother was until her death everything to me, in fact, she was a caring, loving, accommodating mother to many residents of Ogun State particularly in Iperu where she resided. She was equally a devout Christian of Methodist Church Nigeria, a disciplinarian of the highest order. I will definitely miss her but I am comforted that she played her part well when she was with us here”.
Praying for the good Lord to grant her mum eternal rest, Akintunde said that the least they could do as her children were to preserve her rich legacy of selfless service and loving disposition to every Nigerian irrespective of who you are or wherever you come from.
