Oloye Lekan Alabi, OMO AJOROSUN Day Celebration

Monday, 22nd March, 2021, marked the 23rd remembrance anniversary of the late Brigadier-General Sasaeniyan Adedeji Oresanya, a former Military Governor of old Oyo State of Nigeria. He died on Sunday,22nd March,1998, aged 52.May his noble soul continue to rest in perfect peace. Amen.

In the headline above,I have translated into English, RAREPERSON, the first name given at birth to the late amiable, suave, upright gentleman officer, SASAENIYAN
True to his firstname, SASAENIYAN, General Oresanya was a rare Nigerian – in general conduct, whether in public, private and governance. Those who had the fortune of interacting with the refined Nigerian would attest to the trueness of his name,in the Nigerian Army, old Oyo State public service and elsewhere he served.

General Oresanya, was the last of the four governors(1 civilian and 3 military)of old Oyo State whom I had the good fortune to serve at Press Secretary between 1983 and 1989.

He was a kind boss.
