These are good and glorious times for the Olugbon of Orile Igbon, Oba Francis Olushola Alao & his beautiful wife, Olori Olusola Adedoyin–Alao, as they welcome their precious gifts from God. They have just been blessed with a set of twins.
Last Tuesday,11th May the royal couple sent out a Zoom invitation asking their friends and well-wishers to kindly join them in welcoming and naming their glorious gifts and addition to their family. From the moment Olori gave birth to the twins days back, Kabiyeesi has been ecstatic and very excited.
On Tuesday 4th May, when Olori was delivered of the twins, Kabiyeesi sent out a notice, which reads: To the glory of God my wife, Olori Olusola Adedoyin-Alao gave birth to identical twins (baby boys) this morning at Shady Grove Medical Centre, Maryland USA. Congratulations to Oyo State traditional council, Congratulations Oyo State government, congrats to Orile Igbon indigen, congratulations to all Ogbomoshos home and abroad.” “After so many years of expectancy at last God did it in a miraculous way.” A few hours ago, City People spoke to Kabiyeesi in the US on how he feels about the bundle of joy that God has blessed him with, and he had a lot to say. “I feel Happy & Excited and my heart is filled with Joy, moreover it is a sign of good omen,” was how he put it. How does Olori feel? “Same goes with my wife, knowing fully well how emotional women are by nature. She had tears of joy and gladness.”
The waiting has been long. How did both Kabiyeesi and Oloori cope, during the waiting period? “Oh, those who wait unto the Lord will fly like the Eagle and will not get tired. Tears may tarry long but joy comes in the morning.” What are the lessons learnt? “So many ,Trust God , wait patiently unto him and the end shall justify the means . Always thank God in all situations.”
What has kept their marriage going all these years? “Love of God and absolute trust in each other,” he revealed.
Where did the couple hold the zoom meeting to mark the naming of the twins?”We are zooming from my Potomac, Maryland, our US home. Friends, families and well-wishers are rejoicing with us.”
