A few days back veteran actress, Anne Njemanze and her siblings had the service of songs of their dad. In an interview with City People Video Editor, Salisu Nurudeen, she reveals many things about her late dad.
*How do you feel losing your daddy?
The first day, second and third day was very painful, but today look at my father and look at people who turned out for him, I really thank God for his life. I feel very happy because I know that he is in heaven.
What Can You Tell Us About Your Late Daddy?
My father is a loving person and very generous. You can’t even compare his generosity with anything. My father is a man of sacrifices and he is a prayer warrior.
Also the fact that he loves his life. He also lived the Christian way.
Tell Us What You’re Going To Miss About Your Late Daddy?
Oh no, I will miss the way he plays with his grandchildren. For his grandchildren, he is everything. We all call him Bababa and when he travels anywhere he will always get us a lot of gifts and also the grandchildren.
I will miss the fatherly bond because he has been protecting me for a very long time.
Even with all the stuff I have been through as an actress, he will never give up on me. He will always tell me to let go of everything, forget it and live your life. You don’t have to explain anything to anybody apart from God.
He will always tell me everything is going to be okay, and that I should be happy for who I am. Just try not to hurt anybody. That is what I am going to miss about him.
I also want to say a big thank you to my club Les Dames D’amour members. They have been very good to me all the time.
