ANDY UBAH AND ANAMBRA ELECTIONS: WHAT DID PRIMATE AYODELE REALLY SAY?

One of the most widely discussed political subjects right now, apart from the permutations of the coming 2023 presidential elections, is the next Anambra state gubernatorial elections. This is what many Nigerians are talking about and it is largely because everyone is interested in the outcome of that election. Anambra state is one of the pivotal states from the eastern part of the country with prominent personalities jostling for the highest office in the land. The expectations are quite high and there are palpable fears that the elections could be marred by violence and electoral malpractices. The question on the lips of everyone following developments in the state closely is, who will win the elections?

This is why many have been drawn to the story making the rounds lately, claiming that Naija’s most popular and consistent prophet, Primate Ayodele Elijah, the founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has declared  that Andy Ubah will win the Anambra elections. This is a lie from the pit of hell. This is clearly a fabricated story concocted from the creative imagination of some people who almost certainly are well wishers of the distinguished Senator Andy Ubah. It is clearly an attempt by some people who are trying to twist the prophecies of the respected man of God to suit their own aspirations and target.

For the records, the globally renowned and respected Primate Ayodele who has continued to shock many all over the world with his astounding prophecies, did not say Andy Ubah will win the Anambra state governorship election. This is nothing but a feeble attempt by some elements to use the primate’s reputation for accurate prophecies to psychologically sway the minds of the electorates to their side. While it must be noted that the Primate has not categorically declared that distinguished Senator Andy Ubah will lose the elections either, he indeed made some pronouncements weeks back with the intent to possibly make some final prophecies before the election takes place. Below is an extract of what the respected man of God said regarding the Anambra governorship election:                

 “Anambra election will be a tough one. APGA and APC will be fighting a serious battle. ZLP and Labour parties will also put in a good fight, but for APC, the only way they can win is by rigging. The APC candidate, Andy Ubah, has done well. He has tried. But he is not totally free yet, there are still a whole lot surrounding him that could get him disqualified later. And the other contenders must do everything to prevent APC from going to court to contest the results. Once APC goes to court, they will be declared winner. The APGA candidate will also have issues. Ifeanyi Ubah will miss it by electoral technicalities. He has what it takes but he needs to restrategize. PDP does not have much of a chance either, except Ugo turns things around at the last minute. The Anambra election will be tough. There will be crisis in some areas. Obiano will do everything within his power for APGA to get it. But Ifeanyi Ubah needs to wake up.”

From the extracts above, it is crystal clear that Senator Andy Ubah has not been declared winner by the primate. So where is the story making the rounds emanating from? Who are the elements behind it? Time surely will tell. We keep our fingers crossed and wait to see who these elements are.
