For some time now, the billionaire friends have influenced the social media space and caused mixed reactions with the public display of their wealth, as they showcase their properties, cars, including expensive regalia while they grace different social events. One of such events was the burial ceremony of the mother of Obi Cubana, a prominent member of the Billionaire friends, which became the talk of the town across the country. Recall that the wealthy nightclub owner & businessman received 246 cows from his billionaire friends. The gift was nothing compared to the wealth these groups of friends have individually and collectively. After the burial, Obi Cubana and some of his friends went on a vacation to the Maldives, and they all shared photos of their vacation on Instagram.

One particular thing that has become a recurring decimal at Lagos parties right now is how these super-rich big boys now compete with themselves as to who spends the most on the party stage. This act has gradually crept into society now that you must be decked with wads of notes to spray at any party you are attending. One party that literally threw everyone off balance, in fact, it gave some millionaires a run for their money, was when the king of nightclubs, Obi Cubana hosted thousands to his mother’s burial at Oba, Anambra State. It was a party that was in the news for weeks. In fact, it trended online such that it was topping Google as the most searched event. Naira and foreign currencies became like water, flowing everywhere, many invited guests and indigenes of that town shared in the largesse as he was throwing money in bails to the crowd. However, as his wealth grew, his circle of rich friends also expanded within Nigeria and abroad. Obinna Iyiegbu, well known as Obi Cubana, is the Chief Executive Officer of Cubana Group. The Anambra-born businessman got into the spotlight in July when he hosted a carnival-like burial for his late mother in his country home at Oba, where over 200 cows were slaughtered.
The lavish display of wealth by the young billionaire set tongues waggings considering his age. He’s known to run numerous nightclubs and owns luxurious hotels across the city. The businessman graduated from the University of Nsukka, where he studied political science, and got married in 2008 to Ebele Iyiegbu, who is a lawyer. Their union is blessed with four sons. According to him, he was introduced to the real estate business in Abuja, where he met a client who wanted to furnish a house. After furnishing the house for the client, Obi was given N500,000 as he also made over N600,000 in profit from the job. His sojourn into the business world began in 2006 when he established his first nightclub, Ibiza, in Abuja. Later on, he built another club, Cubana, in Owerri, Imo State. From there, his business empire grew.
His close pal, Kennedy Okonkwo is the CEO, of Nedcomaks, a real estate company. He was featured on Forbes Africa November 2020 Edition. This billionaire hails from Ojoto, Anambra State but he has spent much of his years living in Lagos, starting at Alagomeji, Yaba. Kennedy Okonkwo was born on 12th October 1977 into a Christian home. He had his primary and secondary school education at Mobolaji High School, Lagos, after which he gained admission into the University of Ibadan to study Psychology. He has also bagged a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Lagos State University. He is the Chairman at Victoria Crest Homes. He is also the founder of the Kennedy Okonkwo Programme For Tech Entrepreneurs. He has in his garage Range Rover, Two Rolls-Royce Phantoms and a Nord Tank.
Popularly called E-money, Emeka Okonkwo is the younger brother of popular singer, Kcee. Born on the 18th of February 1981, the young billionaire lives an extravagant life.
