She has led several human resource transformation projects within and outside the shores of Nigeria.
Adekunbi is a proud indigene of Lagos State, who holds a BA (ed.) degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. In 2009, she bagged a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the prestigious University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
Between 2008-2009, she worked as a Human Resource Executive at Global Consultancy, UK, where she was further exposed to various areas of human resource profession at the international level. In 2010, she also worked as a Customer Service Advisor at the Royal Bank of Scotland, UK.
In 2011, she worked at Distinct Group (Real Estate) as Admin Manager; with primary responsibilities including but not limited to managing the day-to –day administration of the executive’s office.
She then joined the organization “Great Place to Work” , a consulting firm as human resource manager her responsibilities included Performance coordination & management, Employee Training & development, Employee engagement many more.
She also worked with Main One Service Company, a telecommunications company in Lagos between 2012 – 2014, as HR Advisor, working across various HR function and projects before she moved to Jews Business Support Limited in 2014, as Executive Director/Head, Human Resources, a position she has held till date.
She is a qualified professional, having affiliations with quite a number of professional bodies both within Nigeria and outside Nigeria, where she earned some qualification which includes CIPD, PRINCE 2, MCIB. As a leading human resource professional, she is at the verge of earning the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR). This further demonstrates her expertise of multinational HR responsibilities, including strategies of globalization development of HR policies and initiatives that support organizational global growth.
Over the years, she has garnered experience in the Finance sector, working with Jews Business Support Limited (JBS CREDIT), an institution that caters for the credit needs of small and medium businesses, as well as corporate individuals. She has been directly involved in the day-to day running of the organization, making strategic decisions which has propelled progressive impact on the overall business growth.
