•UNIQUE Motors Boss, Agba AKIN ADEBIYI SAHEED ADESINA
He’s popularly known as the MD/CEO of Unique Motors. And he has been one of the trendy guys on social media over the last few months because of his flamboyant lifestyle. All this he actually does deliberately to promote his brand and businesses.
His real name is Chief (Dr) Adebiyi Saheed Adesina. And he is a big player in the car selling industry. He is one of the young and vibrant Nigerians who have taken full advantage of digital media, to help take his businesses to the next level. He is also into real estate, haulage and many other big businesses.
A few days ago, he won an Award at the 2022 City People awards, for his outstanding performance in the auto business. At the event he spoke to City People ISAAC ABIMBADE, about his two major businesses. He talked about how he also plays big in real estate.
How do feel winning the City People award, today?
I feel honoured. I feel great and happy that I’m worthy to be part of the people who have won this award. It’s an achievement and I thank God for it.
Can you also share with us how you were able to gain such remarkable popularity that almost everybody on social media is talking about you?
It’s the style of business and the style of marketing we do. And also, if you invest in people it would come back to you. I have helped a lot of people in the entertainment industry and other sectors. If you sow seed in people, definitely good things will come back to you. That’s my belief.
I was told that you also play big in real estate. Can you share with us some of your feats?
I established my real estate company in 2011. The company name is Big Bounty International Limited. Unfortunately, it’s Unique Motors every knows but Big Bounty has been established since 2011 trading in real estate; buying land developing properties in Omole Estate Phase1 and 2. I have built a lot of housing units there. it’s just that it’s the car business people know more.
Which one can you say you’re active between real estate or the car business?
I’m very active in the two. It’s just that people know more about Unique Motors. My other business is real estate. In fact we do a lot in real estate because the bulk of funds we use for Unique Motors is from the real estate business. Most people don’t know we actually make more from real estate than Unique Motors. Many people don’t know because the type of marketing and publicity we gave Unique Motors we didn’t give real estate. We are into real estate and very soon we want to go into agriculture. We would also start food business.
Can you share with us some of your business strategies?
The simple strategy is for people to use social media strategy. Also, using brand ambassadors to influence your brand, another thing is that every customer is important. It is important to treat them good and if you have issue with them quickly resolve it. When I sell a car to somebody and the person is not happy kindly resolve it so that they can come back.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
We want to be well known in Real estate and we are also planning to go into manufacturing. We want to start manufacturing cars in Nigeria. That’s the next phase for Unique Motors.
In property sector, we are planning to expand. Selling of more houses and land for people.
Are you also planning to move to the hub of real estate which is Ibeju axis in Lagos?
Definitely, we are planning to move there. The new Lagos is Lagos Island and Epe is next thing for all real estate players. I know some parts of Epe falls into Ogun and when you are coming from Ibadan or Ijebu, it’s easy for anyone
