Elites Glam Ladies Club Celebrates 1st Anniversary

On Friday, 30th December, 2022, Elites Glam Ladies Club International marked its 1st anniversary. Many celebrities graced the event, which took place at City People Magazine’s Event Centre, opposite Charly Boy Bus-Stop, Gbagada, Lagos.

City People’s Reporter, Titilope Oshunlalu (08023380711) was at the event to bring you the gists.

Elites Glam Ladies Club International was founded by Elite Titilope Omowunmi Gbemisola Onafeko in July 2021. The club was established for charitable purposes, including service to humanity and also provide helping hands to the less-privileged in the society.The club is not a social club that gathers for parties. The club is to financially support widows, motherless homes, single parents and families suffering daily with the effects of poverty in the community and Nigeria as a whole. Their aims include helping with adequate care, related to human service, such as food, shelter, clothing, medical, and education.

They also help in encouraging entrepreneurs to grow in their businesses by supporting and marketing themselves to the public. Their motto is “Togetherness, We Grow.” Their area of focus includes the following: single parent (with good reason for being alone), widow’s welfare orphan’s education sponsorship, motherless babies, the challenged children, old people’s well-being.

Give it to the President, Elite Titilope Omowunmi Onafeko, who stole the show at the event. She dazzled in her Elites’ aso-ebi lace. She is a style dictator anyday, anytime. Her fashion sense was on point. The Elites Glam Ladies Club aso-ebi was turquoise blue colour mixed with majenta and gold color, with a gold head gear to match. With her ipele on her shoulder, Elite Titilope looked elegant at the event and her excos, friends, and family gathered to celebrate with her. Elite Titilope has always been a frontliner at parties, and at her party, she played her role well. She looked so ravishing and gorgeous.

The humanitarian, homely, prayerful and humble woman has friends from all ages in all spheres of life.

Members of Elites Glam Ladies Club arrived, looking beautiful in their turquoise blue lace, mixed with majenta and gold to match with gold head gear.

Members of the high-table were Hon. Adeniyi Anifowose, Otunba (Dr.) Seye Kehinde, Barr. Olushola Osho, Lion David Akinosho, Deaconess Abiona, and Gbenga Aregbesola.

Let’s tell you about the Charter members. They are Elite Titilope O.Onafeko (Founder/President), Elite Oluwakemi Okebanjo (1st Vice president), Elite Funmilayo Adeyinka (2nd Vice President), Elite Ifeoma Orjiakor (Project Director), Elite Abimbola Balogun (General Secretary), Elite Olufunke Adesanya Aina (Treasurer), Elite Abiola Ogunkanbi (Welfare Director), Elite Yetunde Akinrinlude (Social Director), Elite Kehinde Salami (Program Director) Elite Hairat Salaudeen (Chief Whip), Elite Adebukola Aikhena (Financial Secretary), Elite Opeyemi Kadiri (PRO), Elite Adejoke Ola-Oluwa (Government/ Intl. Coordinator).

Speaking at the event, the President of Elites Glam Ladies Club, Titilope Omowunmi Onafeko welcomed everyone present and thanked God Almighty for keeping everyone alive to see the day. She appreciated every member for their contributions to make the event a huge success. She was so excited and wished all a very superb enjoyment and Happy New Year.

Speaking at the event also, the Elites Ladies’s Special Adviser, Seye Kehinde, the Publisher, City People Magazine, welcomed everyone present to the event. He appreciated the excos and all the members. He also congratulated the Founder/President, for coming out with developmental projects and urged them to continue adding value to the society. In his words, ‘I see them from time to time, trying to give support to the young, elders, the needy and so on”. He advised them to over look what ever happens and move on.

Speaking at the event, Gbenga Aregbesola said, he supports the vision of the club and will continue to support them, because, he believes in what they are doing. And giving to the needy is what God wants us to do at all times.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Adeniyi Anifowose, who represented the chairman of the event, the Executive Chairman, Ikorodu West LCDA, Otunba Sulaimon Olarewaju said, it was an honour to be at the event and welcomed every one present. He said both the Bible and Quran emphasize doing good.

He congratulated the President and the Exco and welcomed all the guests once again.

Speaking also at the event, Barr. Olushola Osho said the Bible says the poor will never cease in the land, meaning,we will surely have poor people around us. And what Elites club is doing is what God wants. Within the space of one year, he said they have visited ophanage homes, widows, and more, “so, I think it is a good vision, and I will key into their vision, by supporting them”, he said.

Speaking also at the event, Lion David Akinosho congratulated Elite Titilope Omowunmi Onafeko. He said the club has a great vision, and he will encourage them not to relent and keep going higher and higher.

There was a fund raising cutting, of cake, and presidential dance.
