Saturday 17th June, 2023 was a day of fulfilment for many believers as Yeye Adebambo Adetu of the Ark of Mercy, popularly known as Eri Onibuola held a talk of town Praise and Thanksgiving concert in Lagos. The concert is a yearly event which provides the avenue for the Cherubim and Seraphim Prophetess and her large followers across the world to join her in the Praise and Thanksgiving Concerts. This year’s concert was the 8th edition. It was held at her residence in Beechwood Estate, in the highbrow Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos.
The concert was anchored by popular gospel singer, Evangelist Segun Blessing while his praise team was on ground to supply the necessary tonic to spice up the concert. Handling the prayer session which featured praise and worship as well as a brief sermon were 2 prophets and men of God; Eri Oba Davidi and Eri Okiki-Atukori. They did well in blessing the entire congregation after which the Ark of Mercy was presented to the gathering. This is usually done once a year since the inception of the concert 8 years ago. The Ark of God which is also referred to as Eri Onibuola is seen as a divine covenant which Prophetess Adetu as accepted would always celebrate annually.
Being the custodian of the Ark of Mercy, Yeye Adetu was the first who knelt to pray and make requests before it, after which everybody present followed suit by making requests of their most pressing needs. They believe all requests made before it would be answered before the next edition. Those present at the concert seized the opportunity to pray before the ark with the belief that all their prayers were answered. This was followed by merriment and fun galore while the praise team resumed to full duty of entertaining the congregation with classy gospel songs. These were the normal routine of the concert.
Despite the heavy traffic jam along the Ajah to Lekki Axis of the state, the number of people who turned in for the event was remarkable. They even defiled the rain in order not to miss out on the annual concert.
Many people don’t miss the The Ark of Mercy Praise and Thanksgiving concert because it is an event of great testimonies. This was evident in the remarks given by many people at the concert. They said there is no problem brought before the Ark that doesn’t get solved before the end of the year. Reason why they always flood the concert is to make requests before God Almighty.
The host herself revealed the many testimonies said at the annual concert. She said once a request is made before the Ark with pure mind and covenant, it shall come to pass. No matter the sickness or condition a person is in, their story would change for good at the mention of Oba Eri Onibuola Adebambo.
No wonder, every year, people storm the concert with the belief their problems would become a thing of the past. It is one of the few concerts where prayers are genuinely answered.
