Suru Group CEO, Edward Akinlade, has been consistently extending his kindness in Lagos for over two decades. Every month, he ensures that 1,000 individuals who struggle to afford food receive direct food donations from him as well as 250 people in Port Novo, Republic of Benin.
A few years ago, Edward Akinlade claimed to have received a divine message instructing him to establish a church where people gather for early morning prayers at 3 am. The church, named the Holy Tabernacle Temple, has branches in seven countries, including Lagos, Abuja, Dubai, London, Houston, Frankfurt, and Johannesburg.
Akinlade affirmed the church’s commitment to inclusivity, regardless of one’s religious background- a promise he has kept.
