US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: I Stand By What I Said About Kamala Harris In October- Primate Ayodele

by Wale Lawal
The US presidential election has come and gone and a winner has since emerged. Today, the United States has its 24th president -elect, and his name is Donald Trump. He defeated Kamala Harris against all odds and emerged victorious after a hard fought electoral battle that has left Americans more divided than they ever were.

Before the election took place, a handful of prophets had come out to make all manner of prophecies and ‘predictions.’ Many of them had said in no uncertain terms that Kamala Harris would emerge winner. Some of these clergies have been called out to explain their prophecies and what went wrong. But it came as not just a surprise to many but a tasteless joke when some no longer relevant media platforms that have outlived their usefulness called out Primate Ayodele as one prophet that goofed with his prophecy, claiming that the man of God ‘predicted’ that Kamala Harris will win the election.

First and foremost, the respected Primate has repeatedly educated both the media and the general public on the difference between prophecy and prediction, making it crystal clear that he is not in the business of doing predictions.

Hear him: “I have said this time and time again, I don’t do  predictions. I am not into permutations. It is when you’re into permutations that you can be said to be predicting. I am not one of those prophets that wait till a particular event is close by before I speak about it. I make declarations and prophecies long before the event takes place. That is what is called prophecy. What I do is I make prophecies. What God has not revealed anything to me about, I don’t speak about it. I reveal prophecies as directed to me by God. Please, let us be mindful of the difference, I do not make predictions, I make prophecies.”

Having cleared the air on this, let’s get to the crux of the matter. One of the platforms that started the false hood claims that Primate Ayodele had at a time ‘predicted’ that Kamala Harris will emerge winner of the election. And now that she lost, they wonder what the Primate has to say.

For the records, Primate Ayodele NEVER stated that Kamala would win the election. There is no interview during which he stated categorically that Kamala will emerge victorious. On the contrary, what he said was that at the time he was speaking, if the election was to hold at that very moment, Kamala Harris would win because she had everything going in her favour at that time. But he warned that the situation could change because there was still a lot of work for her to do if indeed she was serious about winning the election.

It was in an October 30th video released by Primate Ayodele’s media team, that the  globally renowned man of God said what he said about Kamala Harris that some misguided and mischievous elements have twisted and interpreted to mean that he said Kamala Harris would win the election. Listen to what the Primate said:

“If the election is conducted today, Kamala Harris will win.” This assertion was made based on the fact that, at that time, Kamala had the momentum swinging in her favour. But the man of God went on to warn Kamala sternly, telling her not to rest on her oars. He advised her to work extra hard because she still had a lot of mountains to climb because the election was still a 50-50 thing and she could lose to Donald Trump if she doesn’t stay focused and not underestimate Trump. Primate Ayodele was very firm and direct with his words. Hear him:

“Now, Kamala Harris, listen to me, you will lose this election if you’re not careful enough. You will lose i the sense that areas that, areas that are your strongholds, you’re not doing well there. At Electoral College, they will knock you out, i must tell you. Kamala, if you don’t want to lose, you have to work very well on your stronghold. If you’re waiting to take from what Trump has, that might be difficult for you to achieve. Work very well and have a landslide in your stronghold. Do not ever think that because of the way Donald Trump is conducting himself people won’t vote for him, don’t you ever think that way. Just work very well on your strongholds and the five states i mentioned earlier….Hear this, and hear very well, Kamala, for you to succeed, you have to work very hard on the these areas. This is a warning from the Lord to you, you may choose to take it seriously and may choose not to, but i am just telling you the truth and nothing but the truth. ”

From the words of the respected man of God, it is very clear he knew what he was saying. He never categorically declared that Kamala Harris was going to be declared winner of the presidential election. These videos are all online for everyone to see but the already forgotten online newspaper trying to use Primate Ayodele’s name to come back into prominence is only trying to play on the intelligence of the gullible members of the public.

“I Know exactly what I said, and I will stand by what I said, any day, anytime,” Primate Ayodele tells his critics. “This is not the first time people are twisting my prophecies and trying to put words into my mouth, at my level, I will never deny what I know I said. The Lord has raised me beyond that level. And in the same vein, I will never allow people to claim I said something I didn’t say. I never said Kamala Harris will win the US election, all I said was that at the time I did the recording, if the election was held at that time, she would win because she was in a strong position to do so. And I warned her that she would lose if she failed to do certain things. She didn’t follow what I said and she lost!” he concluded.
