Stand up to be counted by TMM leaders

by Reporter
The affirmation of my name as the Apex leader of The Mandate Movement for Mushin is not seen by me as a personal victory but as the triumph of truth over anything else to the contrary.
I salute the Lagos state leadership of T.M.M, comprising Rt Hon Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the state house of assembly; the ranking members of the state Governor’s Advisory Council, Cardinal Omolaja Odunmbaku, Senator Anthony Adefuye, Chief (Dr) Abayomi Finnih, Senator (Barrister) Seye Ogunlewe, Chief Muraina Taiwo, pioneer secretary of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Lagos State, Hon Lanre Ogunyemi, Hon Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor and Mr Kola Peregrino for standing up to be counted on the side of fairness and correctness in arriving at this decision.
It will be short-changing history if I fail to appreciate and applaud members of the TMM resolution committee, namely their chairman, Senator Anthony Adefuye, His Excellency, Chief Bode Oyedele, alias “World Bank”   member-emeritus of the state legislature, Hon Monsuru Owolabi Alao who has eminently and justifiably earned his nickname “Alao Se’niyan”, brutally frank, Hon Lanre Ogunyemi and the secretariat handlers, Barrister Kayode Tinubu and Otunba Akin Ibesanmi for their patriotic role in mediating in the Mushin matter especially, and finally our own Senator Ganiyu Solomon whose understanding and cooperation, I believe, assisted in resolving the misunderstanding in which emotions ran high at some stage.
This affirmation is a call to greater service, and I am ready to give my all to ensure the growth of TMM and contribute to the continuing success of our principal, the President of the Federal Republic, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in taking the Country out of the woods that he inherited and into economic prosperity during his tenure in office.
In addition, I will lead from the front to steer our members away from crass indiscipline, despondency, and double loyalty, which may want to rear their ugly heads.
Above all, we will work harder to live up to our philosophy of “we lead, others follow”, to the glory of our party, the APC, and God, the driving force of this project.
Prince Bayo Osiyemi
