#COWLSO 2017, Day Two was kicked off with anticipation and excitement as participant were still basking in the euphoria of the opening ceremony. All the speakers were on ground and the plenaries was conducted as scheduled.
Hon. Dr (Mrs) Lola Akande kicked off the event with the 3rd plenary as she discussed Women Development- A Parthway to National Development.
This was followed by Tara Durotoye’s “Parade of Creatives”. The founder of House of Tara took the delegates through on how to set up makeup business and how to capture the market.
Mrs Monalisa Abimbola was duly represented as she shares her experience in her entrepreneurial journey to establishment.
Maria Ameeh of the popular Olaiya Food canteen a.k.a Amala Shitta was also part of the 4th plenary and the session was concluded by Bisola Adeniyi of Lady Biba and Bilikis Adebiyi-Abiola of Wecyclers.
Weyinmi Jemide started of the 5th plenary with the topic, capacity building for MSMEs. The facilitator who is also an author of many books deals with the mechanism that will foster a successful small scale business and its sustainability measures.
Mrs. Toyin Adeniji from Bank of Industries, Mrs. Kofo Akinkugbe in similar vein also treated the financial options for MSMEs and Rev. Tony Adeyemi did justice to the health talk.
At the concluding episode of #COWLSO2017 National Women Conference; “She Creates, She Transforms”, the organisers deem it fit that the delegates conclude this year’s session in a grandstyle.
