Popular On- Air- Personality duo of Murphy Ijemba and Sean Amadi have hit the airwaves with quality sports show known as ‘Rush Hour’ The show will come on air from Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 5-7pm and it will be aired on Lagos based station Metro 97.7 fm.
Rush Hour will put sports fans at the edge of their seats as both Murphy and Sean have promised to be at their usual optimal best whilst the show is expected to catch the attention of everybody especially sports fans.
The show is majorly about the fans as the duo designed it in a such a way to sell and showcase the fans. Meanwhile, a lucky fan of the show will be sponsored to watch the Super Eagles live, when the 2018 World Cup gets underway in Russia.
Speaking at the launching of ‘Rush Hour Sports show’ Sean Amadi, Murphy Ijemba’s anchor partner postulated that the show is all about bringing new innovations and angles to sports presentation whilst also giving satisfaction to ease out boredom.
‘’ Myself and Murphy will be coming up with a whole lot of new and different ideas to entertain our teeming fans and listeners ’’ he said.
According to Murphy Ijemba ‘Rush Hour’ is going to be a day to day tonic that will wipe out boredom for the average listener after everyday work stress as that is the time most people are stuck in traffic.
‘’ The hour between 5-7 was carefully chosen so as to entertain listeners who may probably be in traffic on their way from work. That time is the period most people coming back from work are usually stuck in traffic and they deserve to be entertained so as not to feel the effect of the traffic’’ .He said.
Listeners will benefit immensely by tuning in to the dial as all kinds of mouth- watering gift items, travel tickets and Fans party invites will be up for grabs. A whooping sum of 100,000 will be won by any listener who called in and answer 5 sports questions correctly , while a lot of consolation prizes will be dished out too.
Sport betting company Naira bet will be doling out cash prizes to listeners, while Slot will be giving out Phones, Ipads and many phones accessories, other sponsors are Revolution plus , yes/no and Kick. Preparations are in top gear to air the show in other top radio stations across the country with Enugu and Kano next in line.
‘Rush Hour’ fans party will be held in August in a yet to be decided venue as all listeners will converge to wine and dine and also ask questions from the two presenters of the show.
