Ghanaian actress and mother of one Yvonne Nelson has stated that she is happy to give birth outside wedlock.
In an interview with BBC, the sexy actress who has a child with her man Jamie Roberts also revealed a lot of things about her.
According to her, she believes the best thing she did was to keep her pregnancy and she does not regret it.
‘I believe it’s the right thing to do. To get married, have kids, raise a family is ideal but I believe society puts a lot of pressure on women, young women in Africa especially.’
With regards to how she felt when people criticised her, she said
”I am a very positive person. I don’t let all the negativity and all the bad talks get to me. I was staying positive. I had loved ones around me plus I had this beautiful blessing in my arms. It was all joy for me. I wasn’t listening to all the negativity outside at all. It didn’t really affect me at all”
When asked what matters to her, Yvonne Nelson revealed that if her mum and her family is happy with her, she is happy with herself because family to her is everything.
