The name Alhaji Chief Rasaki Akanni Okoya is a big one in Nigeria. At 78, he has built a formidable reputation as an industrialist.
He is the founder of Eleganza Group of Companies, which is one of the biggest homegrown conglomerated in Nigeria today with over 6 factories.
He started manufacturing Cooler Boxes in 1978 at a factory beside the location of Seven Up Bottling Plant, Oregun, Ikeja in Lagos State and today he has a big production plant of Eleganza Industrial City Ltd, a 32 hectare land at Ibeju – Lekki, Lagos.
It is for all he has accomplished in business that he is being honoured today with our biggest award of the Grand Commander of Business.
