You are one of the hottest and gifted actresses in Nollywood. How does this make you feel?
I feel great and blessed!! It Can only be God…So I will say it been grace all the way
how many years have you been acting? And how did you start?
I joined the industry in the year 2012…I joined a caucus owned by Nollywood Actor John Olakunle Dasilva, He is my first channel in the movie industry. I was with him till I decided to be on my own and put in my best in what I love doing (Entertainment)
How easy or challenging has the journey been?
Every journey has it up and down times, God has been faithful…Doing the challenging times, I just stay positive and encourage myself never to give up because every success has to a story behind it I don’t keep records of the challenging days so I can’t really recall any in particular, I am someone that is very positive so whatever happens, I stay strong and forge ahead for better days
Which movie shot you into the limelight?
That would be Aiyeloja…Where I played the role of Fatty, I was the only female child and last born of the family, the abusive type and someone that wants to know about everything even when she’s not called…The movie made me popularly known as “Fatty Abebelube”
how come you have not been distracted?
Because I am determined, focused and a goal getter… Aside from all these, my dream is beyond the fame and wealth, my aim is to inspire people and I believe I have a lot of people to still inspire…
Do you only art or you also produce?
Aside from acting, am also a movie producer and a presenter…I have an entertainment show I host “Exciting Moments With Debbie”
Tell us about your growing up years. Where were you born? And schools attended?
Growing up was great, All we can do is thank God for life! My father and mother are wonderful, My mother has always been a very supportive person to me. My father is a disciplinarian and his words have been so helpful…I was born and breed in Lagos, I attended both primary and secondary school in Lagos and I studied Public Administration at the Polythenic Of Ibadan…

To mention few are Omo Agunpopo, Ibale Mi, Aiyeloja, Ayelabowo, JUDASI, Ile Opo, Agbede Meeji, Kilo Sele Gangan, Oyenusi, Oluwonkoko and many more…Have also acted in English TV series like Tales Of Eve, So Wrong So Wright, Freezing Point

God’s Backup, My drive to succeed and the passion I have for whatever I do
What will you call the secret of your success?
It has been God’s grace all the way…I don’t see some things coming sometimes but it just happens!! God’s grace has always been sufficient.
Plus the fact that I choose to stay true to myself and keep being me.
