Abuja Court Reverses AMCON’s Seizure Of Jimoh Ibrahim’s Asset

The federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Friday, 30 July 2021 has ruled in favour of Nigerian Businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim over AMCOM and its related allies and has ordered that the agency should refrain from the properties forthwith, in order to preserve the res and enable the court to take the Motion On Notice for interlocutory order of injunction.
Recall that the Asset Management Company of Nigeria, AMCON, attempted to take over the National Insurance Corporation of Nigeria, NICON Insurance, as reported on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
