The Royal family of Akinogun, residing in the Mosan Okunola area of Ipaja, Lagos has finally come out to reclaim their ancestral land from the clutches of unidentified persons who have, for decades executes unwarranted power of attorney over the land rightfully inherited by the family from their ancestral fathers.
The land covers some parts of Pako all through to Abesan and Mosan under Mosan-Okunola Community Development area in Alimosho and Ipaja.
Following the judgement given on March 5, 2019, by Hon. Justice Atinuke Ipaye in suit no ID/1931/2001 in Lagos court, the people currently occupying the land are ordered to evacuate the land as the family did not engage the service of any agent on the said land.
In a statement issued by the family Secretary, Bakare Ganiyu, it is noted that the Akinogun family shares boundaries with the family of Bangbopa, Aboru, Isheri Olofin, Idimu, and Agbedeyi of Orile Agege.
The occupants and owners of structures have however been served the notice of reclamation of the Akinogun ancestral land.
