On Friday, 1st July 2022, all roads led to the palace of His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Adedapo Tejuosho, as one of the prominent sons of the soil, Alhaji Chief Akeem Omolaja Adeoye became Asiwaju Oke-Ona Egbaland. It was a classy party that had many dignitaries in attendance.

He has many businesses running for him both in Egba and outside Egbaland. He is a reputable man who many refer to as their benefactor and sure deserves the new title.

Speaking briefly before the commencement of the event on how he feels about becoming the new Asiwaju Parakoyi Oke-Ona of Egbaland, he said “I feel so delighted, I feel on top of the world, and I am so grateful to Almighty God. I specially want to thank my Kabiyesi, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Adedapo Tejuoso and the people of Egbaland for the honour”.

He moved in a convoy and the ovation was so loud, so much so that many indigenes followed the convoy to the palace, where the installation was done properly before returning back to Abeokuta Sports Club for the entertainment of guests.

The event hall of Abeokuta Sports Club was beautifully decorated with the celebrant’s portraits on the red carpet. The event was well packaged by Luxury Royale Events, one of the best event planners rocking Abeokuta at the moment

There was enough to eat and drink, and indeed it was a well-organised party. It had all the trappings that usually make any party good.

It had beautiful guests; many royal fathers were in attendance. There was also good music, as Alhaji Ramon Akanni and his Fuji music band thrilled guests to no end.
