PROTOCOL
Alhamdulillah Robbil Alhamina.Â
It is my humble pleasure to welcome you all to this noble event with the noblest of greetings: As-Salaam-Alaykum-Waramotulahi-Wabarakatuh. All praises and adorations are due to Almighty Allah who has spared our lives until today. We glorify Him and seek His help and forgiveness. It is my humble pleasure to welcome you all to this noble event with the noblest of greetings:
May His peace and benevolence continue to be upon the noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and His Apostles until the day of Qiyaomah.
As the pioneer Zonal Chairman responsible for overseeing the affairs of NASFAT OYO ZONE 2, I recognize that it is indeed an enormous task, but Alhamdulilah. I am familiar with the terrain of the zone and have carefully examined and understood the vision and mission statement of NASFAT, which is to be a pacesetting Islamic Organization with widespread acceptance. Our goal is to develop an enlightened society nurtured by a true understanding of Islam for the spiritual upliftment and welfare of mankind.
I have familiarised myself with the provisions of the society’s Constitution in Articles 15.1(i) and 15.2 to (ix) in order to understand the responsibilities and structure of the position of Zonal Chairman and the organization as a whole. Additionally, I am committed to supporting and promoting the LEAD (Leadership, Empowerment, Agent of Change and Dawaah) Agenda set by the current national executive council.
I have resolved to pursue the following as my aspirations:
– I commit to adding 3 new branches to the existing 7 branches in the zone within 2 years, Insha Allah.
– I will monitor and encourage branches, prayer groups, and members to participate in Direct Debit Mandates.
– I aim to educate and instruct the Shurrah committee within my zone to adhere to the Shurrah Process guidelines.
– I will mandate and encourage prayer groups and branches to actively participate in all zone and headquarters programs.
– I will discourage the extension of tenures within both zones and branches in my zone.
– I plan to hold rotational meetings with the branches of my zone.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Almighty Allah for making us Muslims and for making today a reality. I also want to express my gratitude to the National Executive Council, NAZOOC, my two desk officers (both outgoing and incoming), and the good people of NASFAT Oyo Zone 2.
I am also thankful to the planning committee of this occasion, led by Alhaji Amusat Taiwo Adeola, Iseyin branch chairman, and all branch chairmen and coordinators of all prayer groups. Additionally, I would like to thank the Chairman Zonal Council of Elders, the Chairman Shurrah committee for 2024-2026, and all the members of the committee for their outstanding work. May Allah reward you all abundantly.
In conclusion, the tasks ahead may be challenging, and the demands may be enormous in the zone, but let us remain focused and have faith in Allah. Together, we shall succeed and continue to build a great society.
May Allah make the task easy for every one of us (Amin).
Jazkumulahi Khairan.
Alhaji Salaam Moshood Oyebnaji
Zonal Chairman
(2024-2026)
