Ambode, Wife Sue For Peaceful Coexistence Among Religious Bodies In Lagos

Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has sued for continued peaceful co-existence among all religions in the State during and after the elections.

The Governor stated this as the first family gives thanks to God for his great works in the state during the maiden Hymnal Hour which is the brainchild of the wife of the Governor, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode at the State House, Alausa.

Governor Ambode who was represented by the Special Adviser on Religious Matters, Mr. Kolawole Verrals attributed the many achievements in the State to God.

This first of a kind event was held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at the Lagos House Banquet Hall, Alausa, Ikeja.

Speaking also at the event, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Mrs. Toyin Awoseyi maintained that it is necessary to give thanks and Praise to God for his faithfulness in the affairs of the state despite the economic challenges in the country.

Dignitaries at the event included the Wife of the Governor, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode, representative of the Deputy Governor, the Permanent Secretary, Deputy Governor’s Office, Mrs. Yetunde Odejayi, Commissioner for Commerce and Cooperatives, Olayinka Oladunjoye, Body of Permanent Secretaries and Religious leaders, COWLSO executive members, among others.
