American State Declares ‘Wizkid Day’

Wizkid officially has a day that he is celebrated by the state of Minnesota in the United States.

October 6, has officially been  set aside as Wizkid Day.

According to a post made available on his Twitter page, this feat was achieved as he became the first African artiste to ever to sell out the Skyway Theatre in Minnesota.

He achieved this feat on US on Saturday, October 6, 2018, hence the date dedicated to him.

Also taking to his instagram page, Wizkid shared a post on the event with the caption, ”Sold out again last night! Love u Minnesota, y’all in my heart forever.”

The Governor of Minnesota described Wizkid as ”One of the most influential artistes” on a night when he performed to a sold out crowd.
