Drawing from his personal experience as an orphan, he stated the foundation’s commitment to ensuring that vulnerable children receive education and widows gain financial independence. He stressed that no orphan should be denied an education and no widow should struggle to survive due to a lack of financial support.
In his address, Mr. Sanusi outlined the organization’s key initiatives to enroll 1,000 orphans in school or vocational training in 2025, provide business grants and financial aid to widows, and expand its welfare support programs to ensure long-term assistance. These initiatives, he explained, are designed to break the cycle of poverty and provide beneficiaries with the tools to lead independent and successful lives.
Additionally, the foundation will launch a book titled “The Plight of an Orphan,” which sheds light on the struggles faced by orphans and the importance of collective action in transforming their lives.Proceeds from book sales will go directly into the foundation’s scholarship programs to further support education for orphans.
