FUAD KAYODE LAGUDA, the winner of the APC primary election held on Saturday 6th January 2024 at the TESLIM BALOGUN Stadium in Surulere, has given his acceptance speech.
“This is a glorious moment in my life, he said after he was declared winner.
“My sincere appreciation goes to the Almighty Allah for allowing me to witness this wonderful day; the day that I officially become the flagbearer of our great party, APC in the forthcoming House of Representatives by-election in Surulere 1.”
“It is with great humility that I appreciate the leadership of the party at all levels ( Federal, State and Local Government) in conducting a free and fair primary, which led to my emergence as the party’s candidate. Special appreciation goes to the Leader, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, for his unwavering fatherly support towards my aspiration. Sir, I want to assure you that I will make us proud.”
“Special recognition and appreciation go to the Surulere APC party hierarchy, the Chairman, Surulere Local Government and his team, for their unbiased stance during the process, other aspirants from the inception of the race till today and party faithful for their unwavering support and projection of my aspiration across the nook and cranny of our constituency. This honour will be rewarded in due time.”
“I am deeply honoured for the support and acceptance of the delegates, who voted massively to ensure that I emerge victorious at the concluded primaries.”
