It was an exciting moment with the new Osi of Egbaland, Chief Bode Mustapha, popularly called B.M. when the City People team met him on the Golf course, in the city of Abeokuta last Sunday.
Give it to this pencil-slim and ruggedly handsome elder statesman of Style, not much has changed about him or his looks. Dressed in a light green designer T-Shirt, with his initials BM etched on it and a White Pant, White Socks & White Tennis, he teed off at 8 am and he had played for 2 good hours by the time we arrived for his 71st Birthday interview, at the Abeokuta Golf Course.
It was a cool Sunday morning. He is a Valued member of the club, just as he is, of many Golf Clubs across the country. He is a keen Golfer. And he has been playing golf for over 2 decades.
We sat in his Golf Cart and began to talk about GOLF, his life, and his forthcoming 71st birthday, which is actually going to be a 2-in-1 event. He is celebrating not just his birthday, he is also celebrating his brand new title of Osi of Egbaland. Not much has changed about this PR guru, consummate politician, socialite, and brilliant Golfer.
Over the years, he has maintained his cute figure. His oratorical gift is still very much intact. He is still his bubbly self, full of life. Everybody who knows B.M knows he is a man of great Style and Panache. He has always been a man of great sartorial elegance. And he has remained so till date.
